I stayed 3 nights here with friends. We had good confortable rooms with plenty of space. Mine was two separate rooms sharing a bathroom, which was fine. Well situated for visiting RSPB reserve. (A 10 minute walk) more

Almost perfect stay, staff were all extemely helpful. We upgraded to room 11 at staff suggestion. Super big comfotable room, not for tall people as ceiling hight was low beams in couple of awkward places, and we overlooked the road, little dissapointed at that, but overall very nice. Dinner however wasn't quite the fine dining I was hoping for. All freshly made... more

Room small and grotty old scrap of carpet for a bedside mat. None of the staff ever did more than grunt at us as we came and went. Very expensive for what you get. more

Had a great long weekend stay, with a nice room and good food. Only problem was a particular waitress at breakfast who acted like serving us was a massive chore. Didnt smile and made some comments under her breath, apart from that all other staff were brilliant and very friendly. more

A great hotel in a small Norfolk village. It perfectly catered for our family needs. We have a 15-month old daughter and they looked after us all superbly well. Our family room provided everything we needed. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was fantastic. Even the bar prices were reasonable. A large car park so need to worry... more

A slight hiccup on arrival as three of our twin rooms were doubles, however, this was quickly put right. Staff friendly, rooms spacious, clean and no sign (or smell) of the drains mentioned in earlier posts. Bar prices were average and the hotel had a nice, relaxed feel to it. I'm afraid that I have to agree with an earlier... more

Staff friendly on booking in. Room fairly small with strange smell of drains from bathroom throughout the stay. Satff in restaurant not so plesant in morning - we took too long (not even 5 secs) to decide what type of toast we would have! Area and location is great - overall the hotel seems fairly expensive for the service you... more

We visit Norfolk regularly and good hotels are few and far between. Briarfields is the exception - spotless, comfortable bedrooms with vcr's for which you can borrow tapes. Excellent food and friendly staff. 5 minutes from some of the best beaches and one of the best bird reserves in the country. We've stayed there four times now and never been... more

My fiancee and i stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. When we arrived we were directed to a lovely four poster room upstairs in the main hotel. The room was very spacious, had a nice bathroom and a georgous bed, which was very comfortable. It had a lovely view of the sea, albeit a bit restricted. The staff... more

We were given one of the 2 double rooms upstars. On arrival we entered the bathroom and was confronted by a very high application of air freshener and thought no more of it. The bathroom was newish and very clean Upon re-entering the bathroom late that evening it was aparent that the air freshner was used to mask the very... more
