Lydney House combines the professional feeling of a larger hotel with the warmth of a family-run establishment. Friendly and hospitable management, excellent service, interesting building in a very friendly small town. The great lounge/bar is a virtual time capsule with its intact 70s style interior and furniture, providing for a fantastic (if unintended) retro/cult feeling. But with WiFi, of course!
