we just returned from holiday here, beautiful views of the sea, mountains etc. quite a steep hill if you are with young children, taxi about five/six euro into town. loud music several nights a week. food at bar, cheap and tasty, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. pools are lovely and clean. air conditioning fiver a day, safety deposit box... I go to Crete regularly so normally stay in a different place every time, but this place will be hard to beat for value and friendliness. Special mention to Miss Anna the waitress at the pool bar. We are a lorge family and all had a great time - think we will be back soon.
