I had a great experience here - the food is excellent and the staff goes out o their way to accommodate guests. My room looked like something out of the days of the Raj - it had beautiful paintings on the walls and the doors and high ceilings were spectacular. It was very comfortable, quiet, and safe. Kishangarh is a... More

If one loves landscape ,Enjoy the Sunrise & sunset on the Lake, Time stands still in calm waters of the Lake on which this palace stands, feel the Touch of Royalty at very resonable price, F & B is made to order though the menu is limited , staff polite and humble.Carry a fishing rod, enjoy a Quite evening as... we a family of four stayed there. Excellent location right next to the lake, the rooms are big spacious with large windows having a great view across the lake. The interior decor is all antique (except the TV ).It actually feels as if you are the maharaja"s guest in the palace and not staying in a heritage hotel. The staff... More

Our car broke down on our way from Jaipur to Ajmer, its a dampener on any road trip, but we happened to wonder along to this great heritage hotel which made it all worthwhile. Phool Mahal Palace is off the beaten track & is fabulously located alongside the Fort of Kishangarh & on the banks of the Lake therefore convenient... More

The hotel is build near the Kishangarh fort and a lake wich makes it a best location to stay. But the hotel is lacking in management, there is no good service, no accountability of services. Food is ok, we can't get the variety of good food there. The rooms are very spacious and clean & the bathrooms are Kingsize with... More

The Phool Mahal Palace is in a stunning location and the building itself is worth a visit. The rooms are, however, run down and less than clean. The one room they seem to use for their sparse visitors is attractive but tatty and the bathroom had not been cleaned when we arrived. Much shouting accomplished this, but spotless is not... More

We stayed for 2 nights and were treated like royalty. Our room overlooked what in rainy season is a lake, but what was mostly market gardens when we were there. This gives it a bucolic feel, and a great quietness except for the voices of farmers and the cries of birds . The rooms, which were decorated by the Maharajah's... More

We stayed at this charming hotel for two nights. We had spent five hectic days in Jaipur before reaching here and therefore welcomed the quietness of this hotel on the banks of a placid lake. This hotel was originally a summer retreat built by then Maharaja of Kishangarh on a piece of land wedged between the old fort and the... More

The earlier one review is accurate. Phool Mahal Palace is an extraordinary place. No doubt it is stunning when there is a lake in front of it rather than market gardens. As it is at present it is a bit shabby and tired-looking but it has loads of character. It is, however, a palace. We were the only people staying... More

A friend and I decided to stay at the Phool Mahal Palace in Kishangarh, Rajasthan, as it was off the beaten track, and we really benefited from our choice. First the hotel. For the last 5 years there has been a serious drought in the area, so there is no longer a lake lapping the sides of the hotel -... More
