I stayed in this hotel based on an earlier review on Tripadvisor. However, the hotel turned out to be absolutely average.

The room was large but very dirty. The bathroom was also quite large. I booked a Deluxe A/C room for Rs. 1200 for a night.

The cleanliness needs to be improved drastically. There were small cockroaches all over the room. Thankfully I didn't see any in the bathroom.

The food was good with little oil. The service is the only good point with the staff going to great lengths to take care of their guests.

Overall an average stay, but ok for the room rate charged. More

HOTEL ROOPALI: "Exceptional treatment"

We booked this hotel for our Official Visitin Jabalpur. We heard a lott about its services and food. And it is a unique little gem, really.

We have stayed at many hotels over the years, often luxury ones with impeccable details and fantastic designs. Price-wise HOTEL ROOPALI is on par with these better-class hotels. But the comparison fails: HOTEL ROOPALI is not a luxury place. I’m sure we will still visit this hotel as long as we come to Jabalpur.

It is the perceptive and friendly service that makes it worthwhile staying in this small family-run hotel. The owners and staff are social at just the right level and they go to great length to make you feel at home.


This said, there is nothing wrong with the facilities. The room we had was spacious and pretty, the food is awesome. It has the best food, i have ever tasted in my life.
