Dalhousie has a different flavour than Dharmasala but the view of the Pirpanjal range and terraced hill farms are exotic to view at. The first thing you notice from your room is the spectacular view of the majestic Dhauladhar Range of the Himalayas. The staff were hospitable even under trying circumstances of a retreating but still present winter. Definately a value for money.

We stayed at Dalhousie for 1 night while traveling from Khajjiar to McLeodganj in Nov 2012. Thankfully, HPTDC's Manimahesh meets all expectations. Nice and clean rooms with very good heaters. The hotel is at the edge of a ridge with spectacular view of the majestic Dhauladhar Range of the Himalayas. The staffs are very hospitable even under trying circumstances of severe winter. Going by the charges, it is a great-value place.
