The Red Roof is one of the better places in the Oberlin area to stay. Rooms are large and adequately appointed and the price is right. The check out staff was friendly and helpful. The view from the room wasn't much; but I recently paid three times as much for Fairfield that wasn't nearly as nice.

We checked in late, with one tired kid and 2 small dogs. Sharon checked us in and she was terrific!!! She was extremely nice and helpful and even brought take out menus to our room. My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our way to Virginia and found it to be very clean and one of the friendliest hotels we have visited in a long time. Front desk staff was amazing both checking in and checking out. Let alone the price was very good.
