My mom and I checked into the Holiday Inn Express after our big screw-up with neighboring Travellodge (see my review on it as well) and were pleased with our stay. While the hotel is very convenient, I agree with the other reviewers. The neighborhood is not the best as far as safety and upkeep. The room was a little small. Contrary to previous reviews, we found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We were in town for a football camp at OSU. The location was good, the rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast were very good. Nothing luxourious but the price was right. We were very satisfied with our stay. more

This was a fairly good hotel for business travel. It was clean, had good service and amenities overall. Last 2 trips to Holiday Inn Express have not been so good. Should have done more research, but the other 2 reviews on this website not too bad. Had to go next door to Comfort Inn to the pool. Stayed here New Year's Eve. Rooms were nice, clean and updated.
