I reserved a room with this bed and breakfast for my parents for two nights back in Dec 2004. At the time, the room was advertised at $150/night. I was charged $394.50 total and mailed a check, which WAS cashed. I noticed the discrepany after mailing the check, but assumed a refund would come in the mail. It did not.... More

Rebecca H of Lansing Michigan I'm sorry to read this review although if you purchased the gift certificate in December 2004 I have to think that is the year you stayed. Please accept my apology I would like to rectify this for you. If you could give me the date and copy of the check that was cashed we can... More

This B&B was featured on a LivingSocial discount/promotion which we bought. It was fully worth it too! We liked the area (Chesterland/Geauga County). Lots of great scenery to enjoy in the Fall which is when we went. The B&B has a quaint feel to it, with adequate or better facilities. We loved our experience up the road at Patterson Fruit Farm... We stayed at the Marigold over night and it was nice. Beverly is very sweet and Judy is super nice. The room was comfortable with a private bath. You have to remember it is a B&B so yes, a lot of things are "old and quaint," but that is part of the overall experience. We met a nice couple from... More

This was our first B & B. It was what we hoped for and more. The details were so charming and Beverly and Mike were so nice. The breakfasts were delicious and coffee ready early. We upgraded one night and it was nice to relax in the room. The 2nd night we met another couple from Toronto and I think... More

We knew from the moment we turned into the property that the experience of staying at the Marigold was going to be special. The house is charming and the hospitality exceptional. The freshly made breakfast really hit the spot. The farm fresh eggs, homemade sausage, breads and a special treat of heirloom tomatoes grown on the property were prepared for... More

Overall, I would give this B&B a 4 out of 5. My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend trip to get away from "busy" life. It was very relaxing. First of all, the house is in a beautiful location off of US Route 322 (easily accessible but not lots of traffic noise). Everything was very well taken... More

Do you like the fantasy of living in a great house? Do you enjoy a warm welcome, friendly conversation and a real desire to accommodate? Do you like to enjoy the our doors and a leisurely walk through a friendly wood? I found all of these at Marigold B&B. Leaving another B&B that was "not as advertised" I needed a... More

I booked the Marigold B+B for my daughter's wedding shower and she and her fiance and I decided to also stay over night the weekend of the shower. The Marigold was the perfect setting for the shower and the rooms were very comfortable and charming. The breakfast the next morning was delicious. I don't think I've ever had a better... More

We went to Marigold for the weekend and had a great time. The breakfast was wonderful, the Care Taker of the Bed and Breakfast was very personable and extremely helpful in helping us find restaurants and things to do. The rooms were very clean and the setting of the home was very peaceful. I would definitely recommend Marigold to anyone... More

The other reviewer couldn't possibly be referring to "Bella", the resident dog at Marigold ! Bella is part of the family...full of love and welcoming energy to all of the guests. She does not have the run of the house, but is ever at her owner's side, and is one of the sweetest, as well as sweet-smelling, dogs I've ever... More
