The room was in desperate need of an upgrade. Smelly, dated and unkept!! Never again!!!

Our comfortable first floor room had superior views of the bay. Refreshments on the balcony with friends made one relax just that little bit more. We stayed here but despite having booked we did not get the room booked.Staff made out it was our fault.No apology,couldn't have cared less.We were in the back motel.The rooms are modern but a queen & single bed means not a lot of room.No outside furniture .Meals nice in hotel.

This hotel is in a great spot right across the road from the pier and beach. There is a great bistro that served the best whiting (fish) we have ever had. Beautiful scenery and friendly service.

Streaky Bay is a very pleasant seaside stopover. Rooms are old style motel, but very clean and well maintained. Parking was not next to our particular unit, but nearby. A good feature was that a continental breakfast (help yourself) in the hotel restaurant was included in the tariff. Good quality lunch and evening meals also available in the hotel.

Stayed at the Streaky Bay Hotel Motel for a night on an 8 day, 5,800km motorbike ride from Perth to Darwin. If you're ever in this corner of Australia - the Eyre Peninsula - Streaky Bay is a must stop place on the itinerary and the Hotel Motel is definitely recommended for the stopover.
