We stayed here for one night in a little bungalow only meters from the beach. A fab little place, right on the beach and only a few minutes walk from the local shops. Really lovely place to relax and unwind. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Loved the serenity, most relaxing and a great place to de-stress. Room was spacious and very clean, had all that we required. Staff made you feel very welcome making sure we had everything we needed and the restaurant was excellent. Beach was lovely. Didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back, for longer next time. Stayed here recently what a fabulous place, the room was spacious loved the outside verandah, we ate in the restaurant and had the best spot looking over the water. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely return for a longer stay next time.

This was my first stay in an "eco" resort, and I'm still a little confused how it is eco. The apartments were well-sized, with everything you might need. We had trouble getting online, but the owner sorted this out quickly each time. The pool was lovely, but the beach was a disappointment (perhaps better when not overcast?!) The lizards in... More

If your travel experiences run to remote Africa or Asia you will be able to shrug off the overpriced incompetance here. What a dissapointment. A rude and arrogant outpost in a pretty location surrounded by other resorts, resturants and cafes with superior offerings. look around, find somewhere else and enjoy this lovely region.

Hi Chris (the reviewer). Let me first respond by thanking the rest of your family group of 18 for staying at Eco Village Mission Beach - all of whom thanked us for their enjoyable stay. THE ISSUE: As you knew (because your family told you), our restaurant is a Fully Licensed Venue and you brought alcohol from your Bungalow to... More

The weather has been perfect everyday since my wife and I arrived. She is from Canada and is continually astounded by the beauty and lushness of this area. The wildlife is literally at our doorstep with a resident goanna coming to say hello each day. The rooms are clean and the king size pillow-top bed is super comfy. The restaurant... More

What a shame we only had one night to spend at this resort! Our accommodation was large, clean, very comfortable (the bed especially), modern & had all the facilities needed for our stay. We did make the mistake of buying food to cook in an oven, but there was no oven! The grounds were very lush & well-tended, and the... More

As a part of 2 month trip up the east coast, my partner and I stayed 5 nights at the Eco Village resort, and can say it was one of the highlights of the trip. We loved spending time on the quiet Mission Beach (less than a minute's walk away), as well as lazing around the superb resort pool. The... More

I really liked this place, the owners nephew checked us in and was really friendly and showed us around. The rate was reasonable $150 for 4 of us 2 adults and 2 kids in family cabin. We had a room just near the salt water pool which was gorgeous and you could walk down and along the beach to the... More
