The layout of this YHA is inconvenient for many of the guests, especially bathroom access. Sadly I had a poor experience here. The manager was rude and chastised me based on false accusations, while ignoring others guilty of the same deed. We stayed at the YHA Maroochydore for one night in a double room. The rooms are quite small but clean. The shared bathrooms are also ok. Nothing to complain about. Even though this hostel is quite cheap, the staff is superfriendly and the price includes a big breakfast. more

What a wonderful place to relax and be looked after by a great bunch of people. I stayed there with my 7yr old daughter for 1 month before returning to NZ. It is very safe and child friendly. Ella loved the pool and "helping" out the staff Gail the manager is a gift who makes you feel welcome and special.... more

We stayed here in December and had an all around excellent experience. We were a family of 7 travelling with young children and everyone of us rate it as the best value for money hostel we stayed in.
