We stayed here for my husbands birthday after hearing people rave about it. Was VERY dissapointed at the thick layer of dirt that covered the floors and the cobwebs that were obviously not just fresh covering the windows. The bed was as hard as a rock and there was nothing to put in the spa. On a positive the meal... More

Can't believe that people rave about this over priced accommodation. Our cabin was grotty (when you pay $330 per night I would like to walk into a clean cabin!) Windows were dirty, table & kitchen benches still had grease on it, cobwebs in every corner even our teenagers commented on how it looked dirty!! The design is terrible - the... More

Have stayed at this "piece of paradise" on several occasions since it first opened. Luxury ,privacy and beauty all rolled into one. These cabins have been built with love to blend in to their surroundings, and a more romantic setting would be hard to imagine. Tried the restaurant the last time we stayed and we were both impressed with the 5... More

Thankfully we had 2 nights here so really got to enjoy the ambience of our lovely cabin nestled in the rain forest. There was a big conference here for the duration of our visit, so we were the only cabin not involved in that. It was suggested that we might prefer to eat our meal in our cabin rather than... More

If you are looking for a bit of peace, privacy and comfort but want to be close to nature, this a lovely spot. As soon as you drive into the property the canopy envelops you and you can feel your heart slowing to a restful pace. Great to escape the noise of everyday life and for timeout. Each treehouse is... Fantastic place to stay in the tropical wilderness. Each cabin is set in it's own grounds and not overloooked by any other. The breakfast basket is great, and can be purchased for a very reasonable rate for subsequent days. The restaurant is very good, personal service, honesty drinks bar or take your own in. The cabins have spectacular views, and... More

We followed the instructions to the letter..... After Lake Eacham, drive x km, turn right (blah, blah blah). It all sounds swell until you get stuck behind the slowest farmer in the biggest ute driving along the longest country lane taking you to what seems to be absolutely nowhere. Surely Tom Tom was testing our trust in the spiritual guidance... More

This was a wonderful place to stay. We stayed 2 nights but could have stayed longer. The accommodation we stayed in was very private and you feel like you are right in the Wilderness! You can hear and see plenty of wildlife. The accommodation is well presented, clean and comfortable. There was a lovely log fire and we did need... More

Very private comfortable accommodations on the edge of the wilderness. Birdwatching was excellent but not to the extent that you are inundated with birds. Dawn chorus is incredible - eastern whipbirds not easy to see but hear them all over - during the day though they are easily seen foraging in the undergrowth. Great place to explore the Tablelands -... More

We really enjoyed staying here, it was fantastic to experience such peace and quiet in extremely comfortable surroundings. The house was very nicely fitted out with lots of nice touches and a scrumptious breakfast hamper. We also really enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. With a one year old daughter it can be hard to have a meal out so... More
