My husband and I stayed at Ayr Traveller's for one night and we wondering who designed this place. I'm sure you could go and have a really nice stay at this hotel if it was quite empty and you get up really early in the morning and if all you really want is somewhere to sleep. The lady at reception... More

Recently stayed here and the whole experience was outstanding, starting from the lovely welcome, and continuing through to the lovely clean and very modern room to the restaurant, lovely staff, beautiful meal and wonderful atmosphere. The fact that is used to be a squash court just added that little bit more to the overall atmosphere. Will definately stay here again,... More

I have stayed at this hotel twice & both times I have been very pleased. It's not the Sofitel, but very comfortable, clean & the service is exceptional. This motel is very well priced & has off road parking. The Motel is also very secure. For a restaurant in a small country town the restaurant food is fantastic. I have... More

North Queensland country town accommodation usually was built just after Captain cook navigated the coast in 1770, but this motel is brand new. Admittedly it used to be squash courts but you wouldn't know except for the pennant board in the foyer.  I stayed in a very comfortable room on the second floor, which was a nice size with large... Spent a night in Nov 2011. This Motel is very well presented, nice and new and clean and they have gone to alot of trouble making sure that all accommodation is secure with a great security system throughout. The staff I dealt with were pleasant and helpful when making my booking/confirming etc and Price seems around the same as everywhere... More

I was staying in Ayr for 5 days on Business. It was important to me to have security, comfort, peace of mind, value for money and most of all a friendly atmosphere. I was extremely impressed with the service I received at Ayr Travellers. The staff (in particularly Kim) went far beyond their call of duty to accommodate myself and... More

My partner and I stayed over night here, we would not return. The room was clean and comfortable, but we had an issue with the shower. Water lay on the floor rather than staying in the shower area and made the tiles slippery and quite dangerous. The bathroom window was frosted with no curtain, the door is also frosted glass... More

We stayed on our way up to Cairns, then on way home also. We like the modern feel, clean rooms, very friendly staff. The water on the bathroom floor from shower is an issue I think, even though plenty of good towels supplied. Traffic noise not an issue. Ayr is a lovely town - the continental deli worth a visit... Each year we travel from the Gold Coast to Port Douglas to visit family. It was my birthday so we decided to stop off for the night in Ayr. We had been told that this motel was a good place to stay over. We arrived about 8pm and were greated with a huge smile from the friendly staff. My wife... More

My wife and I were recently in Ayr on a very busy weekend and everything else was booked out. We haven't stayed there before and found that even though the place was nice looking, clean and modern, there were a number of problems with the room. We found there were no blankets in the room which we needed as it... More
