Stayed at Balconies in April for three nights and realised we'd made a huge mistake...We should have booked for seven. Daylesford itself is a beautiful piece a land in country Victoria. Friendly people, lovely cafes/restaurants, boutique shops and relaxation spas. But the diamond in the tiara is definitely Balconies. Wonderfully spacious room with a great view of the lake. Service was outstanding, from all concerned. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice. The ambience of the property was warm, cosy and welcoming. We'll be back!

Stayed here for 2 nights one wet May weekend. Was missing warm atmosphere & needed an open fireplace for cold weekend. Satisfied with most aspects with minor recommendations for fellow travelers. Request a room away from reception & kitchen, find a cosy pub to park yourself Saturday afternoon & don't bring takeaway back to the b&b

Thanks for posting your review - it's a shame we don't have an open fire in the Lounge as it would be lovely to sit around on a chilly night. Unfortunately the property wasn't designed with one in mind & we don't have any space in the Lounge to accommodate one. But hopefully the hydronic heating kept you toasty warm... More

Clean comfortable accommodation, lovely hosts who provide good breakfast in a beautiful part of Daylesford. Only downfall was the lack of soundproofing between rooms and hallway.

We have stayed at a number of B&B's throughout Australia that have been good but the Balconies has taken our experience to a whole new level. We could not find fault with either the room or the breakfast, these were just superb. We certainly will return soon and look forward to Michael and Russell's professional hospitality.
