Visited here planning to have dinner but was put off by someone sat in there with the dog (Not a Guide Dog) some dirty old mongrel, really think they should review lwtting dogs onto a premises where they are serving food.

This pub is fine if you're not too fussy, and I'm apparantly not. Stayed here on Saturday 21st July 2012 to see Adam Ant play at the Silverstone car festival. Ideal location (about 10 min drive from the circuit), free parking, great breakfast, and nice friendly staff. Good pint too.

Booking mix-up due to staff problems, linen clean and changed every morning, staff superb, friendly and hard working, food excellent and very reasonable, nice atmosphere in bar so stayed there in evenings. Basic but if visiting Towcester again would definately stay at Brave Old Oak.
