We pulled into the Angel after being stuck in traffic on the A168 and being in desperate need of a drink and some food on our way further north to see some friends.
When we arived we got a warm welcome from Hellen the manager and Nikki the waitress, and show to a table that gave a nice view out...

Since 'The Angel' has been taken over the food in the newly decorated restaurant is superb!
My advice, don't travel to Whitby for Fish & Chips, just order from the menu and you won't be disappointed. John and his staff are very friendly. We intend to go to The Angel on a regular basis with friends .... just love those...

Well I can honestly say it was the WORST pie I have ever had...The Steak within the Pie was so tough and un-edible, I left all the meat..and ate the rest, When the young lady came...
