Dropped in for lunch when we were visiting the area. Friendly welcome and good service. There is a menu of standard pub food and a specials board with a good choice of fish and meat dishes. Had the grilled plaice with garlic prawns, delicious chips (crisp on the outside and fluffy inside) and fresh side salad, and the prawn salad.... More

We stayed here on a Saturday night and were really disappointed. Pub looks great from the outside but is shabby inside.. Rooms resemble something you might find in an old peoples home. Our room was modified for disabled guests. The bathroom especially was very clinical and unwelcoming! The sink was perfect height if u are in a wheelchair but stupidly... More

I thought I would try the pub when I moved to the village last year. The food was very basic but filling. Service was good, but not much atmosphere. Looks better on the outside than it did inside as a bit old-fashioned for my liking.

My partner and I went to the Queen Victoria at almost 8.30pm on Weds last after the Victorian Fair ended, we were hungry and lucky enough to be just in time to order a meal. The choice we made - liver, bacon and onions on mash - was perfect, the food came quickly and was tasty, so much liver and... More

We went here on the off chance as the pub across the road was closed until later on Sunday pm. We were so glad that we did. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. The food was superb, and they were very accommodating when we asked for changes on the menu. The prices were very... More

Been going to the queen vic' for quite some time now, when staying around the west coast of norfolk. It's lovely, especially as it has been taken over by new people who have made the place something really special. Portions are fantastic and their sunday carvery is lovely! They give you lots of portions of meat which is good. The... More

We have just returned home after a 6 night stay at The Queen Victoria, the room had been decorated very tastefully, with an excellent en suite wet room, we stayed in a twin bedded room, the twin beds were very large singles and extremely comfortable, the bedding and towels that were provided were of excellent quality. in the room we... My wife and I stayed one night. Our room was in a detached block. The room was reasonable spacious, well-equipped and clean. The bathroom a little on the small size, but adequate. The pub part itself is a basic country pub. The staff are welcoming and efficient. The cooked reakfast was excellent - fresh ingredients freshly cooked and delivered hot... More

Always came here with parents on family holidays, not changed a bit, nice beer garden, handy with kiddies! Great food and large portions, good atmosphere, service was A1 and served quickly. Easy to find, nice clean loo's! Would recommend to all..

Good clean spacious room for family of 4, en suite, all usual facilities, door directly to outside. Good car parking. Good breakfast. Very near village shops including newsagent, chemist, post office and fish & chip shop. Most satisfactory and consider it value for money. Have stayed there in the past and would do so again.
