Enjoyed this well kept hotel with a stylish bedroom and equally well kept bar staff. The locals are very friendly, a bit chatty, excellent sweet and sour chicken balls and a good breakfast. We have stayed last week in The Nelson pub, for 3 days. The room is furnished contemporary and nice, bathroom is ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night as we were attending a nearby 50th Birthday Party on a very cold early February night. We were shown to Room no.1 attached to the main building.
