I popped in for a coffee, the first visit in 20 years. The public rooms are comfortbaly furnished with lots of little corners. There is a nice dining room and several outside seating areas. The main road past the hotel is much quieter now after the by-pass was built.

Having lived near Etwall for the past 6 years we have tried a number of the eateries in the area. We had heard not so good reports about Blenheim House so didn't bother with it. We heard the Hotel had changed hands and thought we would give it a try. Wow we had the best lunch we have had since... More

The Blenheim House Hotel has changed hands recently and my goodness what a transformation. The whole place has undergone a massive refurbishment and all done to a fantastic standard. Phil and Helga will do extremely well here, they are very proffesional, friendly and welcoming. The food is tremendous and the atmosphere warm and relaxing. Plenty of easy parking in this... More

The Blenheim House hotel is a delightful venue in the pleasant village of Etwall, just fifteen minutes from Derby. Two renovated 18th century cottages form the main building, which includes a bar and restaurant as well as nine guest rooms. The theme is individual, period charm combined with modern facilities and décor. We used the hotel as a base while... More

I visited the Blenheim House Hotel, (which is under new management) today. I wanted to organise a business meeting. I found the new manager and staff extremely helpful and accomodating. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming. Frances

I visited Blenheim House with my husband and two friends, the atmosphere was lovely, it was cosy with a mixture of history with a modern touch. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. We had all chose different meals from a very good menu, and we were all very happy with the delicious food served to us. I will certainly... More

We travelled for our annual night out to celebrate two of our group of eight's birthdays (it’s a long way from Gatwick for a night out, but well worth it given the company we were with and the welcome and service we received here). We agreed on this location on the recommendation of one of our group which had stayed... More

This place is fantastic, we stayed in one of the 'suites' - lovely and quirky with old beams and a four poster bed. It was great value for money and the breakfast (included in the rate) was lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant and the menu was simple and the food top notch. The atmosphere and ambience in the... More
