After a huge 20 miles and Shap high street which went on forever we were so pleased to see the pub. It doesn't look much but the food was good, the rooms nice and the pack lunch cheap. What more could you want?

After a very arduous walk in terrible weather, we were greatly relieved to arrive at this pub. They kept the kitchen open as we were very hungry.
