They had upgraded us to nicer room before we arrived, so had a very large comfortable room to stay in, with its own fireplace and large screen TV. We stayed here during our coast to coast walk, the room was great, wonderful view, we even had big fluffy dressing gowns to wear. The Landlord is a great guy, plenty of chat and a bit of a laugh & joke. Just the kind of person you need behind the bar. Lovely evening meal and great porridge next day.
