We've stayed here twice now and it really is a lovely place to stay. The rooms (the superior ones at least) are spacious, very well equipped and nicely decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. Despite a mix-up over our booking (the specific room we'd booked had been given to other guests), the staff did their best to ensure that... More

Worth staying in for dinner, lovely dining room, spacious, warm and very comfortable. Room was very spacious, complimentary wi-fi and delicious breakfast included. We stopped here overnight on the way home from seeing Manchester United last week. On our arrival, we were warmly greeted with a smile and lots of information, before being directed to room 5 where we stayed. Wow - that is one AMAZING room! The decor was immaculate, luxurious and had lots of attention to detail - thank you for... More

Our room was very well decorated, with nice finishing touches. The complimentary toiletries were lovely, the beds big and comfortable. The... More

When somewhere is really good you expect them to be busy, the Bears paw is no exception but there is a big but, which is the whole ambiance is a very happy comfortable exsperiance from the log fires... I have stayed at this hotel twice. Its a great hotel/pub in a beautiful village just ten minutes from the M6. The rooms are very stylish and extremely comfortable. Heavenly bed; downy pillows; flat screen tv with plenty of channels; tea/coffee/cookies; great quality toiletries. The pub/restaurant is very nice. We sat on a big leather sofa by the fire, in...
