Staff were helpful on arrival and as we had stayed before treated us like a member of the family. Breakfast was a little slow but freshly cooked and there was plenty of tea and coffee on offer. Bathroom was spotless and looked newly decorated

Stayed at the Boars Head hotel with 4 others had a twin room and a triple room. Rooms very clean and the beds comfortable. Spent the night next door as they had live music more to our taste. First rate and very friendly service from all the staff. We have a severely disabled daughter and the staff could not do enough to help us. The room was perfect for us. The breakfast great. We will definitely come back.

Very friendly staff, rooms modern and well furnished, food well cooked and well presented, in the heart of the village ,have stayed in other hotels in area but this place beats them hands down for friendliness and service. Well done

Although lacking in some areas of cleanliness, the staff were always at hand to answer as best they could any questions I had. The room was basic but adequate for my needs. The lack of readily available public transport meant that I had to fork out huge amounts to the rip-off taxi firms.
