I have just returned form a wonderful 2 night break at champneys in henlow. The staff are all lovely and very helpful, Nothing was too much. It was a breeze making my booking through the reservations team as they talked me through each package to work out what would be best for me and my needs. The rooms are lovely... more

My two sisters and myself first went to Henlow about 6 years ago, it was when we all hit the '0's - 40, 50 and 60. It was brilliant then and we started to go twice a year after that. Last year our parents became ill and we couldn't go at all. My youngest sister decided 'enough was enough' and... more

First impression not great - Receptionist started arrival procedure then was called away and never returned . Eventually another staff member completed after we reminded them we had been waiting for 20 minutes. Rooms are good with a lovely view in our case of the weir but I am not sure what really you are getting for having a "superior"... more

I had a fabulous 2 day stay at Champneys Henlow. It's difficult to say whether the steamy mud bath or the all over massage was the best bit.. and then, of course our gorgeous premier room with a sitting room bigger than mine at home. I think the really outstanding thing was how friendly the staff were - Talk about... more

I have now stayed at Henlow twice a year for 5 years. I have tried other Spa's in the champney's group but always come back here. The staff are brilliant, the General Manager is very hands on, food is superb, and the treatments although some of them are a little expensive they are really worth paying for. I always go... more

I spent a week in late August with a friend. We had separate Superior Rooms and they were lovely, with splendid views. The time flew by; I don't know where the week went. All the things I took to "pass the time" remained unused and unopened. The food was amazing - my ony complaint was that it is so good... more

I go to Henlow once or twice a year with my Mum. Her treat to me. It's a fantastic environment to spend time together. The food is amazing and the staff always make a special effort for me as I have tons of food allergies and I’m fussy! The treatments are total heaven. This trip I had 2 acupuncture treatments... more

Having just returned from a 2 nights stay that i booked for me and my wife to get some time together after a busy period at work, I am confused at some of the comments that have been posted about the poor quality of this resort. We found the building and grounds to be fantastic, the old building which is... more
