We just spent 4 nights in this hotel. We thought it was excellent. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The restaurant was more than adequate...the salbutes were excellent. Service was spotty, depending on the waiter and ranged from lackadaisical to very attentive...all in all, very nice people. I totally recommend staying at The Lodge at Uxmal. The rooms were great, the bar was great and the pool was clean. The staff was also very helpful. The Lodge was in a great location next to the Uxmal site. There is very little to do around the hotel except to visit the site. There were a few small souvenir shops but little else.
