Booked this hotel last minute, I have to admit the roof top terrace won me over. It was a wonderful location, really no issues not being right on the ocean because the trollies are there very frequently. If you want to go to Sian Ka'an because of the "free" golf course, think again. The golf is free, but you have to rent a cart at 65$ per person; duh. So it's 135$ to rent a cart for 2 persons. Add the price for renting golf clubs (45$ per person), and it's 225$ for a couple to play... More

2 couples stayed April 7-14/2012 2nd visit to GBP Mexico (GBP Tulum last year), we've been to Dom. Rep and Cuba Pros: food is excellent !
