Just came back from a week in heaven......did my research so kind of knew what to expect but it exceeded all my thoughts. It is a small "boutique" hotel with about 50 rooms....The cons: Rooms are a bit outdated....that's it..... Beach is beautiful with no venders....Grounds are immiculate. Food at restaurant was wonderful and priced more than fair. Staff is... More

We stayed at Rancho Banderas for the second time and have just returned home. We love it there. The beach is wonderful -- beautiful with pristine sand and quiet with very little traffic. Lots of mornings I would walk the beach and see just a few others. So beautiful. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The units have... More

We stayed for a week at this small (less than 50 units) timeshare resort high on a cliff overlooking Playa Destiladeras - half way between the town of Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Punta de Mita in Mexico's Riviera Nayarit. It was our first time at this resort, however, for more than two decades we had owned houses in Bucerias (the... More

This resort is well maintained and staffed by a very pleasant crew of waiters and grounds people. The beach is wide open and relatively private. The rooms are a bit dated but still very nice. The pools are clean and refreshing, with waterfalls, a water slide and ample deck space for solar lounging. There is a ncie restaurant on site... More

The food is bellow average and pricy, brace yourself and be patient, they are terribly understaffed and that impacts the staff's attitude and service. For the rest we had a wonderfull time, the beach is very nice and private. The hotel is a 15 minute drive To Punta Mita for very good food or 30 minutes to PV. If you... More

We were recently in Mexico for 4 weeks and spent the last 2 weeks at Rancho Banderas. The good first, it is very close to the main road and a short walk form the the units to the bus stop right in front of the place. Bus fare is 10 pesos (About 85 cents at the time) to almost anywhere... More

Two weeks in a three bedroom unit in late January. The best view in Mexico. Very clean and the staff were excellent. People like Juan, Memo,Luis,Edgar,Antonio and Martin make the place memorable. Food was good this time although a bigger menu to select from would be nice. The beach was very clean with almost no rocks which was great. We... More

We stayed in a two bedroom condo here in November 2011 and we had a great time. We had a really nice condo with ocean front and every morning, we would open the patio doors and lay in bed and watch the ocean! The room was huge with two TVs, a stereo & DVD. It had a lovely patio with... More

The small quaint resort is 30 minutes from Puerto Vallarta. Its an easy drive but gets old after a few days. The rooms was large and comfortable and had a well-equipped kitchen. We were there in October and the days were all in the mid 90's. I don't think the air conditioner could keep up and it was very humid... More

My family of 4 including 2 teenagers went to Rancho Banderas for New Year's, I never imagined the Pacific Coast could be so beauitiful. The Rancho is very quiet and breathtaking. The only complaint we had was the restaraunt and food. Because it was our first time there and we were only there for one week, we opted for the... More
