This was a lovely place run by a knowledgable local who is doing his best to make this a perfect location to stay. The swimming pool is in a lovely setting, there are nice restaurants nearby and we enjoyed our time here.

When I arrived at the hotel, it was great, the music is piped through out the hotel and the grounds, the room was warm and welcoming, the satff are friendly and ready to please. Like techgrrl from last year our arrival at Casa de Maria Felix seemed unexpected. We arrived to find the property dark, locked, and only repeated pounding on two doors brought attention. When the owner of the Casa de Maria Felix inadvertently double-booked the small room we had reserved with her before leaving for Mexico, she upgraded us to a better room. Our room, the grounds of the hotel, and the owner are all lovely. We had a wonderful stay in Alamos; I'd recommend this small hotel to anyone.
