The Posada Sol y Luna is very convenient to the ruins (only about a 15 minute walk away), and is a comfortable place to stay. The hotel management was helpful, parking is secure, and the hotel couldn't be cleaner. You can "do" the ruins as a day trip from Mexico City, but it's nice to go to the ruins early...

I found this place online and gave it a chance. It was clean, comfy and only $60 for a night. Which included a simple breakfast.
