Someone went to a lot of trouble to renovate the Relicario and it pays for the guests.My wife and I stayed for a week after finding and viewing their website.http://www.dolores-hidalgo.com.mx/Hoteles/relicario.html Online reservations were EFFORTLESS...and I could see from google earth that it was fairly close to all the historic sites. I have visited the mountain region of Guanajuato several times, and my trip to Dolores Hidalgo in May 2007 was a great trip to remember! I flew into Leon, GTO (airport code BJX) and stayed at El Relicario Hotel in Dolores. It's within walking distance of downtown, shoping and restaurants. Plus, you're ina real Mexican town full of real people.... more
