After a week of whale watching in San Ignacio, This was a good place to stay on the way home. From the lagoon in San Ignacio to San Quintin, it is about an eight hour drive. This is the second time I have stayed here and it was just as good as the first. Small motel, modern, clean rooms and comfortable beds. New TV with 3 or 4 English channels. All the parking is gated in so no worries about theft. It is near to several restaurants. It is at the north end of San Quintin, so you miss a lot of the morning traffic. I will definitely stay there next year.

Good location for me when I travel north. It is on the north side of town and I miss most of the morning traffic on my way to the border. First floor rooms have been remodeled and are clean and nicely decorated. Nice shower and the WiFi is strong. By far the best choice in this neighborhood!

We ended up here because our first two choices were full. Was a pleasant surprise to find clean modern rooms and all the amenities we needed. The outer glass wall is a brilliant idea it really muffles the road noise, lets the light in and keeps the dust out also. Have stayed there twice now and will be back I'm sure, its a good stop over spot on our way down the Baja. Think all of the rooms are about the same, but I like the south end of the building for the parking on the side and its close to the front desk. Overall great value good service and very convenient for travelers.

This was a very cute and well maintained motel right on the main drag. It is laid out as a building in a building so to speak, which thankfully muffles the traffic noises at night. The air conditioner was quite noisey however, but it was 80 degrees F. outside so turning it off was not an option. Conveniently located on the east side of the main highway. Many nearby restaurants to try out. Color televisions, clean towels, and sweet smelling linens. We felt they were trying very hard to secure the property at night with a locking gate across the front parking lot, plus parking on the side. We felt very safe here and were of the impression they were going the extra mile to ease tourists' apprehensions. We were very pleased with the service, location, staff, and property. Would stay here again.

Clean, safe and quiet despite being right along the main highway through town. The hotel has thick glass between the rooms and the outside so you really don't hear that much noise from traffic during the night. The man running the desk was very friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable and clean. A great value for passing through (about 40% less than the top rated hotel).

I have stayed here several times over the last three years for work. The rooms are clean and comfortable and I always feel safe, even though I'm a woman staying there alone. They offer internet in every room, and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a heating/cooling unit in every room which works great. The water fixtures at the sinks are touchless, which can be a little annoying. Sometimes they don't want to stay on when you're brushing your teeth and at other times they stay on when you don't want them to, not to mention that there's no way to adjust the water temperature yourself. The showers in most of the rooms I've had work fairly well and they DO allow you to adjust the water temperature. Because of the water issues of the area, the water sometimes comes out very hard, which can really dry out your hair and skin. It also can have a very strong odor. Unfortunately, all of the water in the area is like that and I doubt there's anything the hotel could do about it. The walls are a little on the thin side, so if your neighbors decide to be noisy, it can ruin your night, although that's usually only on the weekends when drunk American college kids tend to stay there. During the week mostly business people stay there and they're quiet. There is an okay restaurant right next door, allthough I'd recommend "Santa Isabel," about a five minute drive north on the main street. For Mexico, this is a great value.

I agree with everything the previous reviewer said. But guess what? They also have internet in every room! Even tho it is on Highway 1, it is very quiet and is behind security doors with security cameras.

We spent one night at this hotel on our way to Baja California Sur, after a five hour drive from Tijuana. The hotel is right on Rt.1, to the left, if you're coming from Tijuana. I learned about this place on some online forums, and it was a great find. Our room was extremely clean, it looked recently redecorated, it had TV, phone and a very clean and new bathroom. The bed was very comfortable too. The staff was very kind, they helped me with some international calling I had to do to unblock my credit card. The also recommended a restaurant, I think it was called Santa Isabel, that we were pleased with, especially with the brochetas de camaron (jumbo shrimp skewers). This is not a luxury accomodation, but it's new, well maintained, very clean, most of all it's great value for the money! We paid only US$38 per night, a great value in Baja. I would highly recommend it to people who're driving down the peninsula and look for a place to spend the night.
