We stayed at the ski in ski out hotel for 4 consecutive years for a week to 3week periods. The hotel was handy to the ski slope and it was nice to have a kitchen in our apartment as we like to do our own cooking. The apartment however was in dire need of improvements. The carpeting was worn out... More

First the good things. The view...beautiful. The ski mountain very nice, and the staff very friendly and professional. Now the harsh reality. This hotel is straight out of the 1950's and built at a time when there must have been zero building codes. Walls as thin as paper. A sixty pound girl walking down the hall sounds like a 600... More

We were happy to try out this resort as one of the many the Eastern Townships has to offer. If you're looking for a splashy ski resort, this isn't it. But it has an unpretentious, family-friendly feel - good terrain, and was a very enjoyable way to pass the afternoon. The views of the lake below are reminiscent of skiing... More

This is a unique ski slope. At 1700 foot vertical, it is a decent hill. What is remarkable is the view as you ski - it's like looking at God. One of my favourite places to ski in Quebec. The hotel is not expensive, but is tired and needs a freshening. The table d'hote at the restaurant is good value... More

We live in the area and frequent owls head often. Besides not having been renovated or updated in thirty years, the ski school is consistently disorganized and disappointing. Our kids are left off the roster (after being registered for weeks), the instructors are extremely late, and no one seems to have a clear understanding of how their system works. The... More

I'm a skier, ski by day eat and sleep by night. If you want luxury then go elsewhere. We stayed at the auberge at the base of the main lift. Rooms have thin walls and are basic but that's fine, bring your own kettle or microwave as others do too. Rooms basic but every thing works. The staff here are fantastic,helpful... More

Overall, Owl's Head is a really good resort for the price and does what it sets out to do well. We stayed just after New Year on a week which started out with very little snow and in a winter which has been unusually mild - not ideal for skiing and it was probably as a result this that the... More

1)Tried to cancel a few days after we did the reservation and a few days before the check-in date since we were not able to get ski lessons for our kids at the ski center. The Hotel refused to do it unless they kept our deposit. We were finally lucky to get very good ski lessons for our kids. 2)They... More

We just came back from Owl's Head. We stayed at the slopeside Apartment/Hotel. It was a fabulous trip. The skiing had something for everyone (we have intermediate to expert skiiers in our family). The accomodation was very large and was fully stocked. It was really convenient to the hill. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. There was a... More

We stayed at the Owl's Head "Apartment-Hotel", which is not to be confused with the accommodations above the ski lodge. The front desk staff were quite friendly, although we were surprised that one staff member was unaware that you can cross-country ski on the Owl's Head golf course (should one want to do that in addition to the great downhill...
