We booked a value golf package through this hotel, which was advertised in the local paper as "72 hole golf challenge". The ad said you could play four 18 hole rounds on Saturday afternoon, two on Sunday and one on Monday and the cost was $253/person, based on quad occupancy. When we called, we were told the ad was a... more

We stayed in one of the rooms in the actual resort, not a cabin. The room was a lot smaller than I expected. The room had two double beds but I highly doubt that, they were more like 3/4 beds. It was quite a tight fit for the two couples travelling together. The bathroom does not have a fan. The... more

When people describe the cottages as moldy or disgusting the mean the riverside cabins. I stayed in the gold echelon cottages and they weren't moldy or musty like the riverside cabins so don't be afraid. When we arrived at the hotel and checked-in the service was the same as any other hotel. When we arrived at the cottages we were... more

I was there for a golf tounament this summer. The room had no shampoo or soap. I was given the key to an existing guest's room upon checkin by mistake. They ran out of propane for the barbecue with steaks on grill. The air conditioning did not work. Upon check out at 4 am (wanted to get out to my... more

Just so every one knows about these reviews, when someone is speaking of the cottages, I do believe they actually mean the smaller country cabins, if they had stayed in the Echelon Gold Cottages as we have in the past, they would know there is a difference, a very big difference!!! more

If you have allergies - or even dislike strong odours - the Rodd Brudenell is NOT for you. Because of my son's pollen allergies, we took our expensive air filter with us. One night in the lower level of the main building was enough to saturate the air filter (which is supposed to last five years) and cause us to... more

Stayed at the Rodd River Resort. The cottage was full of mould. You could smell it when you walked in the door. Can't understand how they are able to rent these out from a health view point. more

We booked a cottage as we were arriving late and golfing early. They were awful. You could smell the mould and see it too. There was no way I would spend a night in that room. However when I complained to the desk they did move us up to the main resort for the same price. more

Our stay exceeded our expectations. This property is tied for first place with their Crowbush Resort as for excellence in service and amenities. We were very happy to enjoy all this property has to offer for the non golfer. As a family of four we truly relaxed throughout our stay. The junior suites are very spacious, yet everyroom includes a... more

Although the Brudenell Resort is a lovely place, with friendly and caring staff in the golf shop, front desk and the restaurant, the cottages are not up to this standard. They are small, smell musty and the bathrooms are so noisey that you hear the people in the attached cottages using the facilities while in your room. Stay in some... more
