Spent two nights with a friend before and after the Cabot Trail. We had my dog with us he was welcomed. Rooms were clean, bright and had many amenities. Beds were comfortable. Basic accommodations in a convenient location, near the Canso causeway. Rooms are small, but sufficient for a night's stay. We only stayed one night as we were travelling. I would not recommend it for anything more than a stopover. The room was small with 2 double beds. We could not get a queen which we prefer. I booked this Hotel on Priceline, got it for $45.00. The pool was closed because it was "off-season", even though it was a warm May day and the pool is indoor. The front desk lady the first day was very nice, helped us finding restaurants(Hotel restaurant closed for the season), area attractions, etc. The lady the second day was rude... more
