We were delighted with our recent visit to the Campbell House, and like those before us who have written so glowingly about its assets, were smitten with its location, the building's sense of history, our room, its cleanliness, the enthusiasm of the staff, and the healthy breakfasts. An additional word about the breakfasts: we were thrilled to see fruit, yoghurt,... More

Excellent. We couldn't have asked for a more charming location and building. This property was a wreck when the owner bought it, and it has been so well restored that it is difficult to believe it has not always been so well cared for. Very professional and efficient team, since the owner and staff have more than one property to... More

We are prejudiced having stayed at the Campbell house many times. As nearly always in Newfoundland the rooms are squeaky clean, adaquate in size, and quiet at night. This house is a historic residence and very interesting place. But the best are the hosts Tineke and Marieke Gow and their wonderful staff. They will make your stay most memorable. Lots... More

Our group of 4 people had this charming 150-year-old house all to ourselves for the night, since the people who reserved the other room were no-shows. It was fantastic. We had a large double room for the couple in our group, and two small but cozy attic lofts for the two other members. We also got full access to the... More

The setting was gorgeous...... nestled in an enchanting valley. The accommodations, a wonderfully restored 1840 Irish cottage that featured all the modern amenities we could wish for. The bathrooms were sparkling clean, the bedding crisp, cozy and comfortable. The view from every window was breathtaking. The many, meandering gardens were bursting with fragrant roses, lupines, irises and forget me knots... More

Second stop on our driving tour of Newfoundland. Used lonely planet Canada & 2011 map & guide book for Newfoundland Labrador to map our trip. Spent a couple of nights booking B&B's, just under 2 months ahead of time & found it hard to get the first choice. We found all B&B's or Inn's that were en-suites, but didn't get... More

We had one night in Trinity in early June and stayed at Campbell House. The room was very comfortable and the sense of history in this home is amazing. The staff go out of their way to make you comfortable and to inform you about local events. We had dinner at the Artisan Inn which I would highly recommend. All... More

I've just returned from a weekend at the lovely cluster of B&B's owned by Tineke Gow in Trinity (www.trinityvacations.com), and am still basking the the glow of a most wonderful time. Sleeping in the most comfortable rooms. eating the most delicious meals, walking through historic villages, breathing in the sea air, finding treasures in the town's arts and crafts shops.... More

This was our first visit to the Trinity area for an overnight stay and we are looking forward to going back. Our room was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and our host couldn't have been more helpful. What more could you ask for in a B&B? Definitely would stay again and again. Laura Balchand

My sister and I spent a night in the second floor room which was cozily decorated with antique furniture (four poster double bed and a single bed tucked into the wall). Pretty linen. The landing had a tea station with a mini-fridge. Very handy. Note: you can buy milk at the Mercantile, a trendy little cafe/shop just a few minutes... More
