We just returned from a relaxing September weekend stay at Pacific Shores. We have been to Pacific Shores before and in the past have stayed in the 200 block, which are the newer, luxury units with wireless internet. This time we stayed in an older 500 block unit overlooking the water. This older unit was getting tired and in need... more

My husband and I stayed at the resort for 2 nights in August 2009 on the first 2 nights of a 5 night honeymoon. The room was booked 4 months in advance by e-mail. The booker made an error on our reservation date but she e-mailed me to let me know she caught the error. Unfortunately for us an e-mail... more

We hosted a wedding for our daughter at the resort in July 2009. For the most part we enjoyed the resort and its natural beauty. Where things fell apart were the activities post ceremony. We could make a long list but a few of the main issues are; Hors D' oeuvrves served 2 hours early right after ceremony, sent back... more

We just came back from a week at Pacific Shores. We had a fabulous time. We were in an A suite in the new 700 block building. We did not have an ocean view, but we did have a view of the lovely gardens and man-made stream. As a previous reviewer mentioned, you may be disappointed if you just book... more

Beautiful resort, ocean front location. We were very pleased with our visit and the staff. The garden tour was very informative, the pace relaxing and the tide pools interesting. We found purple starfish, crabs, etc steps from our unit during low tide. Went out on free little boats, what fun. The kitchen set up was terrific, also bar b q's... more

Spent first week of july in a two bedroom. had 3 teenagers in the 1 bedroom lockoff and my wife and i in the suite with the kitchen. Everything about the suites, location, was excellent. Service was excellent. I cant imagine people complaining about anything there. We brought our own portable bbq. and cooked on our deck but there was... more

we only stayed one night and we were suppose to stay a week. we didn't realize how remote the place was, and the check in staff acted as though they didn't want to be there either. we booked this 8 months ago using our RCI points. I think they put us in the worst room in the place. No a/c... more

We were given Room 726B with one queen bed, mini fridge, no A/C, sofa, fireplace and screen door onto a very tiny patio (guessing 6ft x 6ft). The patio had a wall on one side, another patio on the other side and a tiny view of the ocean over the large space of lawn. The room was long and narrow... more

We enjoyed our stay at Pacific Shores resort. My family (with children 7,10,18) stayed in a 2-BR unit. The unit was rated for an occupancy of 7 and it was really a 1BR unit plus a studio (A+B) combined. The unit was very spacious with a full kitchen and a very large living room area. There were balconies off each... more

The room was nice except there was no view and no air conditioning would not cool off even at night. The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant is awsom. We used RCI points - cost too many points for what we got. more
