The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the location great but the building itself extremely noisy. Footsteps reverberated through the room whenever anyone walked by in the hall or in the room above. This went on all hours of the night Conversations in the hall and room next door were heard by all. Also, went to use the coffee... More

We deliberately planned our ski vacation to coincide with the Winter Okanagan Wine Festival at Sun Peaks. What a great way to enjoy wonderful skiing and sample Okanagan wines with no cars or designated drivers to worry about!. Cahiilty Lodge delivers on its promise of excellent ski-in / ski-out access. You literally go out the door, up the steps, and... More

I've stayed here for few years now, about a week each time, with my parents. This year I cut the cord, rented a room on my own. Will definitely do so again. Very affordable, very friendly, and directly on the ski hill. Rooms are comfortable, I had a flat screen TV and wireless access in my room (with improved wireless... More

Hotel is great for families on a budget -- Calvin at the front desk rocked! Super guy and very attentive. The other gals at the front desk didn't smile and seemed a little angry at times. Rooms were very clean and the attendant was amazing. What a lovely lady! I wish I remembered her name - she always had a... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Sun Peaks. The hotel was located in the heart of the village. It was one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed. The staff was always helpful and were always smiling. If I had to recommend a place to stay it would be the Cahilty Lodge. More

Stayed here 1 night September 2011. Nice room on corner, although a bit small - had the worst hairdryer on the trip! Check in and staff very good. Hotel pretty empty so very quiet generally. No breakfast available on site. Dining room open at night but we didn't use as hotel so quiet. Underground parking. Location is pretty but obviously... More

My family and I (count it-5 of us!) visited this hotel recently seeking a family vacation that provided a comfortable space large enough to accommodate us while providing beautiful views and most importantly, RELAXATION. Even my teen had a blast while trying skiing for the first time. The front desk was so helpful in providing us with everything we needed... More

We went to Sun Peaks in August this year on our way to the brilliant Rocky Mountains. It's a bit like a much larger version of Portmeirion in Wales in that nothing in it seems real as it's made just for tourism. People wander around aimlessly it seems, tripping from one shop to another where the prices are pitched at... More
