First of all , the staff was really friendly and cheerful. The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. First of all, when you walk in the front office door, you are greeted with no one, but then a hairy, lanky creature will appear from nowhere. He truly has no customer service skills. For a highway motel, this is one of nicest and cleanest we've stayed in. On that long drive from Prince George to Prince Rupert, we found this to be an excellent stop to rest and relax. The Traveller's Motel was the most helpful motel that we stayed at in Burns Lake. We should have slept in our truck. Had no other options. Will plan next trip to avoid this overnight stop. The room was very dirty, the door did not lock, the floor around the toilet was rotten.
