Never having been to Canada and not really understanding the layout of the land, we searched online for hotels near Calgary on Expedia. When we came across the Heritage Inn it seemed the best value so we booked. Much to our surprise, we discovered when we arrived in Calgary, that our hotel was in High River, a town near by.... more

First room was a mess. When they moved us to the second room there was fuzz and crumbs on the floor and toilet paper in the toilet bowl. That wasn't too bad, but I had a shower and I put a towel down on the floor by the toilet and when i picked it up it was covered in urine... more

If you need to go to Calgary for a weekend but don't want to pay the high prices of the Calgary hotels I strongly recommend the Heritage Inn in High River. My wife and I came up from Lethbridge for a winter wedding and found that even though the price was lower than Calgary hotels, the service did not suffer... more
