Stayed one night in March, 2008. Great budget hotel in Fargo. Located just off Interstate and 45th Avenue. Oversized "suite" rooms with lots of space. We stayed at the Mainstay Suites for 2 nights. I recieved a cheaper rate through a friend who works at this hotel. The lobby is very clean and inviting. There is a good size continental breakfast area. It was never over crowded in the morning and they offered the usual items for breakfast. However, I thought the breakfast was great.... more

This was a VERY nice place to stay! The staff is SUPER helpful and friendly and the room was so nice. it was like a mini apartment I would definately be happy there if I had to stay a while, the free microwave popcorn was a really nice homey touch!! more

Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with our stay! Upon arrival we waited 20 mins in the lobby for the front desk attendant to return. The pool was closed for the day (highly disappointing to our 2 1/2 year old who couldn't wait to swim). The room was okay...but needed some improvement in the cleanliness department. Stayed here on business in December 2006. Room was adequate and was appointed with a separate kitchen area for those staying longer than a night or two. The lighting in the rooms, however, was very harsh fluorescent and that made it hard to work in the room, despite the nice desk area. Wirelss internet was available in the lobby area... more
