This was our first time at a B & B. We took our 8 year old (quiet) daughter to stay there. We all enjoyed it very much. It was very quiet and nice. We would do it again. The restaurant across the street is magnificent. This B & B is in the heart of Old Salem. We walked everywhere.

We stayed at the Zeveley Inn for eight nights spanning the Easter weekend. Both Linda and Sherry were terrific hosts each providing interesting local information and tips. The rooms were beautifully decorated with lots of charm and comfort. The breakfasts were wonderful with plenty of fruit, fresh baked cakes etc and great conversation. All in all, a great stay!!

Wonderful historic building in a nice quiet location; we stayed in the Augustus Zevely room which features a very comfortable king bed, comfy easy chair and gas fireplace that warmed the room in minutes. The shower bathroom is sufficient and TINY but an elbow knocker. The buffet breakfast was okay.

When you visit Old Salem, nothing better than staying in Old Salem. Great B&B. Comfortable room, private enough for a B&B. I bet spring, summer and autumn would be idea especially with the great garden/patio area. Very friendly host.

Linda the innkeeper is the sweetest person. You couldn't ask for a more pleasant experience than staying at the Zevely.
