Stayed over Halloween 2009 weekend. It was ideal - near the University & Beach area, very helpful staff, good breakfast, and help concerning best route to downtown, things to do, & restaurants. The facility was well kept and close by to various restaurants. Seems like there is a Texas Roadhouse nearby every place I visit. Highly recommend this hotel. more

Visited the Wilmington area to look at potential retirement sites. Booked this Hampton Inn as it seemed close to everything. It was but was built, in a strip mall parking lot. Having stayed at a number of other properties in Wilmington, NC in recent years, I can say with a high degree of confidence that the quality of accommodations do not get much better in the area for the money.
