We arrived for a three day stay in late May. We had reserved the Pisgah room which is their largest suite. It is large and has a king bed, sofa and love seat, a couple of other chairs, a large gas fireplace and most other amenities most hotels have except a blow dryer and a micro wave. Why they did... Just a two hour, great motorcycle ride away from home, this inn is one of my favorite places to stay and dine. The views are fantastic and this rustic inn is just what I need to help me relax and enjoy life.Waking up to the beautiful views of the Blue Ridge mountains is definitely good for my soul!!

If this hotel were in the middle of Ashville I wouldn't give it an excellent but it is out of town high on a mountain top. Best features.- location (no other hotels around, balcony on each room which has a great view, hiking right out the door. We found the restaurant very good with great service. Check-in was also excellent.... More

Our entire stay was shrouded by fog. We had a trecherous treck up the mountain to the inn, missed the signage to enter the property due to the fog. It was unfortunate as we were really looking forward to sitting on the private porch, in the rockers and seeing the view. The outdoor furniture is new and looked really nice... More

My parents have been visiting and raving about the Pisgah Inn for years and finally decided to share the experience with the rest of the family. What a great place to get above it all. While the weather was not ideal, we were still able to get in lots of hiking, visited the Cradle of Forestry, and PARI. Opening the... More

Since our stay in May 2012 the rooms have been updated: new fixtures in the bathroom, new flooring, lighter colors (paint? drapes?), new balcony furniture . . . all in all, good improvements. (They could still use a room clock and a soap shelf in the shower.) All the things that have attracted us for several stays in the past... More

We are checking out this morning. The hotel is an old, rustic hotel that needs updating. That said, the staff is very nice and helpful. The views are amazing however, and this may be seasonal, after a day trip to Waynesville and Maggie Valley we returned up the mountain to find ourselves in the worst fog I have ever experienced.... The view from each room is the best! We requested a second floor room for more height on the view, however a family might like the ground floor for safety with kids on the balcony. No pets, no smoking and no smoking pets - love that policy! Rooms are modestly furnished, but comfortable. $135 on weekends includes a generous breakfast.... More

We stayed at the Pisgah Inn on May 12th on our way to the Smoky Mountains for our anniversary. Our room was a King on the 2nd floor of Tree Tops building and the view was spectacular. The room was spacious and newly renovated. The bed was very comfortable. We didn't get to use the private balcony, as the weather... More

It's a delightful inn the mountains, not a luxury hotel, but that's what we were hoping for. The view from the room and the restaurant were beyond compare. The beds were comfortable and the heating worked well. I was also delighted to find they used some great environmental practices. We all found the food and service at the restaurant to... More
