I stayed in this Baymont a few months ago and noticed that they were doing some remodeling. The room we had then was wonderful! However, the room that we got for this weekend showed they still have remodeling to go! The breakfast was great, the staff was good. We had a coupon from one of the rest stops to another hotel next door. I was told that there were no rooms available at that rate, even though they had had plent of open parking spaces. I definitely regretted booking this hotel online without actually seeing it. This place is just terrible. They didn't have mattress pads or fitted sheets on the king bed. So of course by morning we were sleeping directly on the mattress..Yuck! I sent complaints directly to baymont inn and finally got an apology from the manager and he said he corrected... more

Stay away. We stayed there on our way to Myrtle Beach and this was awful. We had stayed here a few years ago and it was a nice hotel then. The management has changed since then. There were cockroaches in the room and it smelled bad. We left very early the next morning after only being there a few hours.... more

This place was beat up, unmaintained, and filthy. It was a cheap find, but I would never stay there again. There were cigarette butts laying everywhere in the parking lot, and the flower boxes were filled with trash and dead plants. I ended up here after having problem with hotel across street (HI) staff was very nice, hotel was clean, free breakfast, indoor pool and jacuzzi, rooms were nice and big, there is a new owner now so previous reviews don't count, he is committed to change! and the price was very reasonable, you can go in bldg or pull up... more

Rooms were dirty, mattress pad smelled so back it kept me up. Staff offered to rewash all bed linens so we would stay, of course we didn't........ shouldn't they have been washed before we arrived. Would not recommend to anyone. more
