The staff makes this place. Yes, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Yes, the bathrooms are a decent size and nicely done. Yes, the breakfast is nice, but hands down what makes this hotel a great place to stay is the staff. Thanks to all the wonderful ladies at the front desk who made my stay a pleasant one!

The staff was nice, the room was perfect. They let me check in early and let me extend the stay with no notice. Very comfy ... but as another reviewer noted, a little bit loud at times.

I checked in at 4:30am, after driving all night I was put in the room directly above the portico and was woke up at 6:00 am as the truck was being unloaded. Complained and it fell on deaf ears. Beautiful, well maintained and clean. Staff could be better trained to listen to customers complaints.

Hampton Inn in Statesville is excellent in cleanliness and quality. Large room with two queen beds and large bathroom. Hotel was quiet. Note - no microwave or refrigerator in room. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast in dining area off lobby was plentiful and well stocked.
