Just spent the weekend at The Jefferson Inn and the service and hospitality matched the southern charm of the city. The large rooms were very clean with high end Five Star type master bathrooms. Considered a hotel but its smallness is like a bed & breakfast. Friendly staff, nice tavern for drinks and food. Outside bar on weekend which is quite popular. Southern Pines is very laid back but golf courses and resorts in area is great. A very good value instead of the pricey nearby resort hotels. More

Charming for sure, quiet-no!! Bedding is great, room average, noise level-loud! Tossed and turned all night long. Location right near shops and lots of dining choices. Would not eat at their restaurant again if given the choice (our deal included a $20 dining certificate) so we didn't have a choice. Most definitely would not stay again More

The hotel and room was beautiful. The tavern/restaurant food was great. The area (historic downtown Southern Pines) was nice to walk around in. But... on Thursday through Saturday nights they have music in their courtyard and the crowd gets very loud. So, if you want to relax, don't go on a music night! Breakfast was not impressive either. More

Kelly was working every time we walked thru the lobby. She switched our room when she discovered our ac was down. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The town is really cool if you like them quaint and small. More
