We stayed in a Foxhunt unit on the little lake. It is such a beautiful location. Over the past two years we have taken the tour bus trips to local scenic spots, but this year we only went on the Pisgah Forest trip to the Blue Ridge - a must do trip because it is always different due to the... More

Wife and I booked a week at this time share to relax for awhile. What a pleasant surprise as a base for looking at beautiful scenery and waterfalls, it couldn't have been better. What a surprise to have (2) great restaurants on site (Mika's has great food ranging from pizza to pasta) and the little restaurant on site had the... More

...and practice your downshifting. As one should suspect, mountain roads tend to be curvy and Sapphire Valley is no exception. Don't let this stop you. We have stayed in a number of facilities here over the last six or seven years. Admittedly, some of the smaller units have weird configurations, but one shouldn't be staying here if all you want... First and foremost. Buy a map and use it. Your GPS will lead you in circles. The Sapphire Area is nestled among never ending breath taking views. The roads in and out of the area are truly long and winding county mountain roads. If you own a roadster automobile take it with you. There is no short way to Sapphire... More

We had a bad experience with staff member Phillip. He didn't seem like he wanted to talk to guests let alone answer general inquiries regarding the town. The condos are clean but extremely outdated. The floors sqeek as you walk and the sheets have those hard balls on them- the ones that appear from washing sheets too many times. The... More

I was very disappointed with the condo unit at this resort. The floorplan was very odd - we were in the 1 bdrm unit. You walk in and the living area is very small. You then walk down a flight of stairs to the kitchen and bedroom. It was not designed for a family to stay together. The furniture is... More

I too didn't know what to expect, but once I got there. I was completely satisfied. The rooms are nice and clean an spacious. The sites are wonderful. Waterfalls everywhere. No traffic, Not a lot of people. I Truly enjoyed my week in the mountains. Will definitely be returning. I loved every aspect of it. Thanks Wyndham.

We had a one bedroom lock-off in Laurel Villas, so there was some noise by others in the building which could be heard. Hovever, it was not unexpected and not inconvenient. Condo was clean with one balcony and did have laundry. We golfed every day at Red Robin except one day we did gem mining at the resort. Resort had... More

We stayed a week at Wyndham Sapphire Valley. I had no idea what we were getting into when we booked the condo. It was a two bedroom two bath. The rooms were very spacious and the kitchen had been updated new stove, blender, ice box etc. The area is very rural which we liked. I can see where some would... More

My pre-arrival confirmation stated there would be a whirlpool, there was no whirlpool. The walls to the adjoining room were paper-thin, the family next door had three young children, it was so noisy I thought were in the same room. The bed had a very poor mattress, the sofa and chairs were also very uncomfortable, my wife came home with... More
