Located at licensed premises so handy to a restaurant and bar. Nice swimming pool and handy laundry. Rooms not so great with "prison green" linen and a really awful (and noisy) spring mattress. More

This hotel is unfortunately the best of a bad bunch in Derby. It's tired and in need of a manor refurb, but there is no alternative that offers the range of services this place does. I have been staying here for many years and the only thing that has changed is the staff (at least they now offer a friendly... More

The room and bathroom were clean, plenty of fresh towels. Room smelt a little damp (due to the extreme wet weather they had been having) until the air conditioning was put on but it worked really well. Better room than some I'd experienced in London, UK and Melbourne, Australia. Derby is not a luxury resort and considering the climate and... More

We were staying in this hotel for approximately 4 weeks , what a tired run down place this is . I would not pay $50 a night for this place but our company was paying over $180 per night as accommodation is very limited in Derby. The rooms are old and out dated , The prices for a can of... More

This place does not deserve any stars. Exorbitant prices, reception staff off hand to the point of rudeness, broken glass in entrance door, no lifts to first floor bedrooms which were poky & dark. My advice: free camp if you can or better still, bypass Derby entirely and head for Broome. More

This was once a good hotel but several years of only doing essential maintenance has started to make it look shabby. Starting with the driveway which is broken and cracked cement through to the rooms which have mismatching tiles, cisterns, wash basins, etc. and the pool which is clean but the pool area seldom seems to be cleared of palm... Horrible, simply horrible from the thumb-tacked "art" to the duct taped repaired glass front doors. Service reprehensible, rooms creepy and smelled like urine. Maintenance has been back burnered and the kitchen is oily, greasy and filthy. Food bad, pool cold and we simply couldn't wait to get out of here. Save your moneyand go to the other hotel in town....
