Fantastic hosts, and very comfortable stay. There was a minor problem with the room we booked and so susan and wayne updated us to a different room, free of charge. a great idea. a cyclist friendly hotel with clean rooms, secure bike storage and a retro bike cafe with an open fire, great coffe, great breakfast and bike memorabilia everywherefor its perfect for ski trips also with the storage facilities.

We stayed at the hotel after riding the rail trail from Beechworth to Bright. We were made very welcome and the atmosphere was great. Had the most comfortable night's sleep for some time. Great value accommodation. Very warm & friendly hosts Susan & Wayne made our stay memorable. Lovely cafe with log stove filled with cycling memorabilia with great coffee & homemade fare. Also excellent Indian restaurant next door. Our 4 night stay provided an excellent base for day rides.

Been coming to Bright for many years. This was the our third stay at Bright Oriental Hotel/Cycle Inn. The previous hosts were not good but Wayne and Susan have turned this great accommodation place around. We were upgraded to the Heritage 4 room when we arrived and it was excellent. We were greeted by a nice woman who made us feel Welcome. The hotel is nice, but a far cry from a "boutique" hotel. The room itself is very outdated. We spend 2 nights at Bright Oriental which has a strategic location within the town. While I was fully aware of the 'small' room label, it still came as a surprise to us as to how minute the room is. There is no fridge or chair -- so sit on the bed. Be prepared to put all your luggages on... More
